Woo-hoo! The Springfield Sinfonia T-shirt is here before the first playbill!

T-Shirts? Yes! - "finally" you may say ...

To answer many queries, yes they are available now.
Seeing no point in having anyone pay an online "vanity vendor" twenty bucks or more for a T-shirt with not a nickel of it towards the kitty at the Springfield Sinfonia (even if it resulted in a nifty souvenier right away), an excellent, long established local silkscreen studio has been engaged to do them instead.
So then, T-shirts are available now printed with the image of the popular poster that will be made locally, allowing some profit to go back into the local economy in general and to the Springfield Sinfonia in particular.
Interested parties who donate twenty dollars or more to the Springfield Sinfonia will receive a one year membership in the Springfield Sinfonia and will be sent a lovely T-shirt with the image of the first poster, that appears on this page.
The T-shirt is printed in Navy Blue ink on a best quality, natural (or off-white colored), "Hanes Beefy T" brand shirt, 100% cotton and pre-shrunk. Please clearly specify small, medium, large or extra large.
Please remember to make the size and the complete mailing address as clear as a bell, and please allow several days for delivery.

- En un momento tenia idea de usar un sitio web para para poder ofrecer Camisetas. Pero es algo caro, por muy interesante que sea el sitio web (la imagen se puede pedir imprimida en cualquier camiseta, en cualquier tamanyo, hasta pedirlo imprimido en otras cosas).
En lugar de eso, encontre un negocio local, de confianza y de toda la vida, tanto por querer darle comercio a un negocio local, y tambien para tener algun ingreso para la misma Springfield Sinfonia.
Entonces, por ahora parece lo mas sencillo es lo siguiente
- al donador que hace una donacion a la Springfield Sinfonia con valor de veinte dolares o mas, se le concedera certificacion como miembro de la Springfield Sinfonia por un año, Y se le enviara su propia Camiseta/T-shirt de Recuerdo, imprimida con la imagen del primer cartel (vease imagen en esta pagina).
De momento la imprimen en camisetas marca "Hanes Beefy-T" de alta calidad, algodon 100%, "pre-shrunken" (significa un proceso de tratamiento en processo de elaboracion del material, que se trata de lavar bien el material antes de hacerlo en camisetas, de forma de que el material queda ya encogido antes de fabricar las camisas - de forma de que al lavar las en casa no encogen tanto y duran mas).
La camiseta es de color natural, la imagen imprimida con tinta azul fuerte. Luce bien asi, tiene el aspecto de ser en blanco y negro, pero el color natural de la misma camiseta es muy sufrido.

Importante - no hay que olvidar pedir talla, usando "Small, Medium, Large, o' Extra Large - S, M, L, XL"; Y, hay que escribir muy pero muy claramente las senyas.

En fin, es una camiseta T-shirt muy Ye-Ye!

Announcing the foundation of the Springfield Sinfonia.

There comes a time in the life of every Springfield when forces combine to generate Yet More Art.

Edward Huse, and the Springfield Vermont Chamber of Commerce all agree that the time has come for this very important Springfield to present to the world a force for music in the form of the Springfield Sinfonia, presented by Creative Director Edward Huse.

The Springfield Sinfonia will comprise the vast talents of scores of Springfieldonians and others everywhere, in the spirit of the World Renowned Portsmouth Sinfonia, in a glorious experiment to provoke contemplation, to entertain or amuse, to intrigue or beguile, and to otherwise spread joy to the modern world, a healthy distraction from myriad pesky thoughts.
In keeping with the tried and true format of the Portsmouth Sinfonia, that august phenomenon from the last century, the Springfield Sinfonia is a serious and at the same time irreverent endeavor whose real gift will be to prise from Chaos unique moments of illumination, lyric poetry, and beauty, ephemeral and never to be repeated but ever to be remembered. There will be some structure to the Springfield Sinfonia, as schedules for meetings and rehearsals will be adhered to, and a series of performances will be scheduled and given, but the overall approach will be one of Controlled Serendipity.
The most salient feature that distinguishes the Springfield Sinfonia, as did distinguish the Portsmouth Sinfonia from ordinary orchestras, is it's composition, and it's purpose, which depend on a mix of players with musical experience and skillsets that range between nil and expert, so as to open the door to astonishing accomplishements free from convention, that will captivate and delight audiences not only in our town or region, but worldwide as well. The intention is not mere intentional or designed humorous effect, as the approach is serious and ernest, rather the marvel is in the brief sparks of creation that brote forth during the production of a heartfelt excersize, that has the potential to rise above casual buffoonery to amaze with profound beauty.
It is with this plan that the good people of Springfield, Vermont, and everywhere beyond are invited to participate or to encourage and support a worthy endeavor that promises nothing but further admiration, press and tourism for Springfield, Vermont, Official Home of the Simpsons.

Llega un punto en el desarollo de cada Springfield en que el Arte brota como una flor.
Para este Springfield tan importante ha llegado el momento de presentar al mundo el fenomeno musical que se conocera´ por el nombre de La Springfield Sinfonia, dirigido por Edward Huse y compuesto de Springfieldeños locales y de todo el mundo, sin numero, siguiendo el ejemplo de la Portsmouth Sinfonia de fama mundial.
Como fue el metodo de la Portsmouth Sinfonia, la Springfield Sinfonia tiene como meta extraer del Caos momentos de Arte sublimas, efemeras y preciosas. Apesar de seguir un regimen normal en lo que son asuntos de ensayos y presentaciones, el espiritu del grupo sera de una forma de "control espontaneo", y incluira miembros de toda parte del mundo, con habilidades musicales variados - inclusive novatos sin experiencia de jamas haver tocado un instrumento musical, y hasta maestros peritos.
